Lynn's Hallmark, in the west end of Lake View, is closing due to the owner's upcoming retirement.
The owner didn't know exactly when the store, located at 3353 N. Lincoln Ave., would be closing, but he sometime around Christmas.
Hallmark, the well-known stationery retailer with corporate and independently-owned stores located nationwide, sells greeting cards, candles, stuffed animals and other items. This location features ice cream and smoothies as well.
The owner, who didn't want to give his name or talk about his retirement plans, said Lynn's Hallmark had been open for about 25 years.
