Music Box Theatre Plans Expansion

The Music Box Theatre could expand in 2014. 

Owner Bill Schopf is planning to buy the building next door to the theater in January, Music Box general manager Dave Jennings told DNA Info. Plans for an expansion aren't set yet, but the theater is considering adding a third screen in the new property. 

White Birch Trading Co. is currently located at 3735 N. Southport Ave., the building Scopf plans to purchase, the DNA Info article states. White Birch will close in January after the purchase, and will not reopen in a different location.
