Is Kuma's "Communion Wafer Garnish" Over the Line?

The popular burger joint is featuring a communion wafter on its monthly burger special.

Kuma's Corner is not known for its subtlety — loud, headbanger music, heavily tattooed waitstaff and giant, delectable burgers. So perhaps its no surprise that they're drawing some criticism for their latest burger special: The Ghost.

The Ghost, like all Kuma's burgers, is named after a heavy metal band. But this one features "a communion wafer garnish," along with both beef and goat meat.

Kuma's Corner is in Avondale and its newer Kuma's Too is on the Lincoln Park-Lakeview border on Diversey. The Ghost is only available at Kuma's Corner.

What do you think? Is a communion wafer on a sandwich in poor taste? (Is my poor taste pun in poor taste?)
