Dev to Perform at Pride Fest 2013

Four new acts are announced for Chicago's Pride Fest 2013, with headliner Dev slated to perform Saturday.

Four new acts, including Saturday’s headliner Dev, have been announced to perform at Chicago’s Pride Fest 2013, officials told ChicagoPride.com.

Blu Cantrell, Xelle and Jessica Sutta will join Dev at the festival, according to Sean Kotwa, co-chair of the Northalsted Business Alliance organizing committee. Pride Fest is slated to take place June 22-23, a week before the annual Pride Parade.

American singer, songwriter and rapper Dev first rose to fame for her work with Far East Movement in the 2010 hit “Like a G6,” which hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Her best-known singles are “Bass Down Low” and “In the Dark.”

Former Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta will also perform in Boystown. She recent released a new single titled, “Again.” Blu Cantrell, another solo act, is a Grammy Award nominated R&B singer known for “Breathe” and “Make Me Wanna Scream.”

Xelle, pronounced “XL,” is a pop group made of two girls and a drag queen with vocals inspired by ABBA, Ace of Base and The Spice Girls.

The four new entertainment acts will join former Danity Kane singer Aubrey O'Day, who was announced on March 27. She's slated to take the stage June 22.
