Chicago Cubs fans were apparently in a giving mood this holiday season, with the team’s annual toy drive raking in 30,000 gifts for children in need. The Chicago Cubs Charities partnered with WGN Morning News for the holiday toy drive from Nov. 25 until Wrigley Field’s tree lighting ceremony on Nov. 30. Residents were encouraged to bring unwrapped toys to the Cubs’ administrative office, and in return, they received a free pass to the Rink at Wrigley.
