PAWS Chicago Hosts 36-hour Adopt-a-Thon

The sixth annual Adopt-a-Thon begins Friday at 11 a.m.

Thinking of adopting a new furry friend this holiday season? Take advantage of PAWS Chicago's sixth annual Holiday Adopt-a-Thon, a 36 hour adoption marathon where the goal is to find homes for nearly 200 homeless pets. 

The Adopt-a-Thon kicks off on Friday Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. and will continue through until Saturday Dec. 7 at 11 p.m. 

PAWS Chicago is the largest no kill shelter in the city, and has been ranked in the top 1 percent of charities in the nation by Charity Navigator, who also recognized it as the highest-rated Animal Rights, Welfare and Services charity int he country in 2012 and 2013.
