The country star will perform at Wrigley Field in 2013, and select Lake View neighbors get the chance to snag pre-sale tickets

Country singing star Jason Aldean announced Thursday that his Night Train Tour will stop by Wrigley Field in 2013, and select Lake View neighbors have a chance to snag pre-sale tickets.

The Chicago Cubs sent an email blast to neighbors surrounding the stadium announcing the concert on July 30 next year, as well as notifying them of a pre-sale ticket opportunity. Starting Oct. 30 at 10 a.m., select residents will have the opportunity to buy tickets using a unique link and password scheduled to be sent Oct. 29.

Aldean recently earned three Country Music Association Awards nominations, in the categories of Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Single of the Year for "Dirt Road Anthem."

"We've been lucky enough to sell out the amphitheater in Chicago a few times, and I'm excited to take this next step up to Wrigley Field," said Aldean. "This has always been an awesome city for us, and we're going to pay the Chicago fans back by throwing the biggest party of the summer."

Chicago Cubs Chairman Tom Ricketts was on hand for one of Aldean's first announced stadium shows, featuring special guests Kelly Clarkson, Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett.
