Private School Options Expanding in Chicago

Six private schools are either slated to open or expand in the city, according to Crain's Chicago Business.

Parents who want to send their children to private schools will soon have a lot more options in Chicago.

Crain's Chicago Business reports that six private schools are either slated to open or expand in the near future. They include the expansion of Lake View's German International School Chicago to the creation of the Bennett Day School in the Fulton River neighborhood that will specialize in creative problem solving.

Chicago has fewer private school options than some other cities, the article states. As parents look for more options for their children outside of the intense competition for both established private schools, like the Latin School of Chicago, and top notch public schools, like Walter Payton College Prep, the new private schools are popping up.

You can compare the six schools mentioned in the Crain's article in their table here.
