Motorcyclist Crashes, Dies in Lake View
The 31-year-old man fell from his motorcycle and was hit by a car on Lake Shore Drive.
A man died Thursday afternoon after falling from his motorcycle and being hit by a car near Lake Shore Drive and Grace Street in Lake View, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Joseph Woss, 31, was hit by a taxi around 3 p.m. when he suddenly fell off his motorcycle and the driver didn’t have time to break, according to CBS Chicago. He was immediately transferred to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Lake View where he was pronounced dead at 4:09 p.m.
No citations were issued for the accident, CBS writes, but the police Major Accident Investigation Unit continues to investigate the crash.
