Duo Arrested for Prostitution on Belmont in Lake View
The 25-year-old male solicitor and the 59-year-old patron were arrested and charged for prostitution on West Belmont Avenue.
Chicago Police arrested 25-year-old Kaniyah Lewis Monday, Oct. 8 after he was caught on the 800 block of West Belmont near North Clark Street soliciting for prostitution.
Also arrested and charged was 59-year-old Javanley Washington for seeking the services.
Police said officers were at the scene watching Lewis as he talked with different men while the drove by. Police confronted Lewis when he got into the car with Washington. Both men admitted they didn't know each other, and Lewis even admitted he was trying to make some money.

The incident happened at 1:36 a.m., according to the incident report. Both men have home addresses on the South Side.
