Cops Looking for Guy Who Showed Kids Cell Phone Porn Video

Police are seeking a male white Hispanic who showed some kids a porn video on his phone and exposed himself.


Chicago Police issued a community alert to North Side residents about a man who showed some children a pornographic video on his cell phone and then exposed himself.

At approximately 7:45 a.m. March 18, three elementary-aged children were walking in the 2100 block of Christiana Avenue, heading to school.

Police said male white Hispanic approached the children and showed them a pornographic video on his cell phone. The man then walked ahead and went into an alley near Barry and Christiana.

When the children passed the alley, police said the man called to them and exposed himself.

The man is described as a male white Hispanic wearing a black jacket.

Chicago Police offer the following tips for keeping kids safe when they are walk to and from school:

  • Be aware of this situation and alert your neighbors.
  •  Call 911 to report any suspicious persons or activity in your neighborhood.
  •  Do not let children walk alone.
  • Identify safe havens along your child's route to school, such as businesses or trusted neighbors. 
  • Find out how to start a Parent Patrol or Walking School Bus Program at your child's school.
  • Call the CAPS implementation Office at 312-747-9987 for more information on this and other safety programs.
