Break-Ins at Verizon, Luxury Eyesight
The two businesses were broken into in the early morning hours of Dec. 3.
The front door lock on the Mobile Generation Verizon Wireless store at 1022 W. Belmont St. was punched out overnight on Dec. 3, according to a post by Crime in Wrigleyville and Boystown (CWB). An initial investigation by Chicago Police showed that the burglars did not appear to have entered the interior.
Around 15 minutes after the Verizon break-in attempt was called in, police received a call concerning a burglary-in-progress at Luxury Eyesight at 3808 N. Clark, an article by CWB states. Officers found that the thieves stole the store's computer.
