Summer on Southport

Chicago’s iconic Southport Corridor springs to life this summer when Summer on Southport takes over Waveland and Southport July 12-13. Featured in TimeOut Chicago as one of the “Best Festivals in Town,” the event will feature an eclectic mix of fine art by day and rockin’ music at night, setting the tone for a picture-perfect Chicago neighborhood street festival. More than 30,000 festival fans will visit the beautiful tree-lined streets of the eccentric neighborhood. Just steps away from the friendly confines of Wrigley Field, the two-day festival will showcase some of the city’s best and most diverse artists. Summer on Southport will put various art forms including oil, acrylic, watercolor, jewelry, sculpture, photography, wood, fiber, glass, paper, metal, and mixed media at center stage all weekend long.
