The Toughest Turnaround

Fenger High School principal and CNN Chicagoland star Liz Dozier will speak at TMA Chicago/Midwest breakfast

Principal Liz Dozier is the educator who took over leadership at the school at a time when gang fights in the school's hallways and a massive police presence were routine.  Even though gang issues remain, Principal Dozier has begun a turnaround that has already yielded important results in all areas including higher graduation rates and reduced violence.  Many challenges remain and what some have called one of America's 'toughest' principals in a part of Chicagoland where 92 percent of the student population is low income and 31 percent of the population is classified as homeless has faced it all head on.  Her passion and personal connection with her students is unquestionable from forwarding career goals to trying to help former students turn away from crime.

Come hear the story of a high school in turmoil and the principal who has made a difference and fights to do so every day.  Learn how her commitment, diligence and passion can be applied to your daily work as professional in the corporate renewal industry.
