The Clare Addresses Dining Paradox

The Clare has launched a dining initiative to help address a paradox caused by proximity.  The Clare is a luxury senior living community in the heart of Chicago’s Gold Coast.  It’s close proximity to some of the world’s finest dining venues has caused a bit of a quandary for its residents.  The traditional dining program at The Clare encouraged residents to take their meals in the community’s dining room, which is under the supervision of world-renowned executive chef Hagop Hagopian.  While his culinary prowess, creativity and flare are difficult to compete with, residents feel like they also want to take advantage of the five-star restaurants within steps of their front door.  In order accommodate this desire, The Clare has introduced its new reduced dining option which compliments residents’ interest in enjoying some meals outside of The Clare without sacrificing their paid commitment.

“This is a unique program as meal plans traditionally cover the expenses of daily meals within the community,” said Kyle Exline, executive director of The Clare. “However our location is also unique and so much a part of what makes The Clare so special, that we decided to make it easier for residents to take advantage of its perks.”

Exline added, “In all honesty, one will be hard pressed to find a better meal than those prepared by Chef Hagop.  He has set the bar high and the dining at The Clare is absolutely first class.  But it’s fair that residents will want to explore the amazing options near by. The residents expressed their desire and we are excited to be able to accommodate them.”
