Ticket Vendor Coming to Addison Red Line Station

Primetimetickets.com will soon take up space in Wrigleyville, selling concessions and tickets to concerts, sporting events and theater performances.

National ticket vendor Primetimetickets.com will soon take up retail space at the Addison Red Line station in Wrigleyville, the Chicago Transit Authority announced.

Customers at the Red Line station, located at 950 W. Addison St., will be able to purchase tickets to concerts, sporting events, theater and Broadway performances. Primetimetickets.com will also offer year-round concessions.

The ticket vendor is just one of the CTA’s two newest tenants. Chicago Mezuzah and Mitzvah Campaigns, a non-profit service agency, will lease out space at the Evanston Northwestern Hospital Purple Line station.

“A ticket agent booth as well as a social service organization are unique to the CTA,” said CTA President Forrest Claypool. “It is CTA’s goal to find vendors or groups which are as diverse as our customer base.”

These new leases add to the total of 35 new concessions added over the past 24 months. Annual rents will increase by more than $70,000 bringing the total amount of new non-farebox revenues in the last two years to more than $500,000.

In March the CTA announced Dunkin Donuts will lease out a space at the Belmont Avenue train station in Lake View.
