Penny's Noodle Shop to Close Sunday
The Wrigleyville location of the popular Thai restaurant's last day will be Sunday.
Wrigleyville mainstay Penny's Noodle Shop is closing its doors for good on Sunday, according to an article by DNAinfo. The Thai restaurant's location at 3400 N. Sheffield Ave. has been open for 23 years, but is leaving because the owner of the building has plans to renovate.
Store manager Leo Chabz told DNAinfo that they're unsure if they'll move back into the location after renovations. No matter what, Penny's will continue to look for a new Wrigleyville location.
Penny's Noodle Shop's location at 950 W. Diversey, 1542 N. Damen and in Oak Park and Northfield will remain open.
