Milt's BBQ Robbed at Gunpoint
The restaurant was reportedly robbed at gunpoint around 10:45 p.m. on Monday.
Milt's BBQ for the Perplexed, 3411 N. Broadway, was robbed at gunpoint on Monday night after the store had closed, according to the blog Crime in Wrigleyville and Boystown (CWB). The blog states the restaurant was robbed of around $948 at 10:45 p.m. According to police reports, there were issues with some of the restaurant's surveillance cameras the night of the robbery.
The offender was described as an African-American male between the ages of 27 and 32, CWB states. He's reportedly 5'10", 175 lbs and has a tattoo under his left eye. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and a black mask on the lower part of his face. He was reportedly armed with a semi-automatic handgun.
