What better way to celebrate the holiday season than by welcoming a new furry friend into your home? 

PAWS Chicago, 1997 N. Clybourn Ave., will stay open 36 hours this weekend for their annual Adopt-a-Thon.

From 11 a.m. Friday until 11 p.m. on Saturday, the no-kill shelter is trying to find a home for nearly 200 homeless puppies, kittens, cats and dogs.
