New Year's Eve Celebrations Around Lake View

Want to stick around Lake View to ring in 2014? There are plenty of places to go. Check out our list of local businesses holding celebrations below.

  • Lambda Legal Benefit at Replay Beer and BourbonJoin DJ Moose to celebrate Lambda Legal's very successful year in Illinois. For $40 in advance, you'll have unlimited access to top shelf drinks for 3 hours, a champagne toast, free vintage arcade games and a fun remixed 80s soundtrack. 
  • New Years Eve Monster's Ball at Stage 773Don't miss your chance to say goodbye to 2013 with a slew of creepy activities. Tickets are $70 for regular admission, $100 for VIP. Your ticket includes unlimited drinks, appetizers and entertainment. 
  • Jack's on Halsted: Jack's on Halsted will be offering an enhanced dinner menu for New Year's Eve along with a Jazz Acoustic Player starting at 7pm and throughout the evening.  They'll open at 5pm and offer anytime seating as well as a champagne toast at midnight with party favors. They will also be serving a lunch/dinner menu on New Year's Day and open at 1pm.   Reservations can be made on the phone or at www.opentable.com.
  • Belmont Pourhouse: The Belmont Pourhouse has several options available to make your New Year's Eve perfect, from $65 packages to no minimum and no cover options. There's also buy-one-get-one options for couples. 
  • Bountiful Eatery: The fresh, healthy and gluten free restaurant is hosting a 4-course candlelit dinner with three seating times — 7 p.m., 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. The menu is $30 per person and reservations can be made at (773) 687-9811. The best part? It's BYOB!
  • Milt's Barbecue for the Perplexed: Milt's is hosting several celebrations throughout the day, including a 3 p.m. family celebration, a 6 p.m. multi-course dinner and a 9 p.m. dinner seating that includes live music and a countdown to midnight. 
  • Bar Pastoral: Bar Pastoral will be hosting an early dinner from 6-8 p.m. with a prix-fixe menu and a cash bar cocktail hour at 5:30. There will be the first annual New Years Eve Cocktail Party at the restaurant beginning at 10 p.m. — complete with a midnight dessert bar!
  • Bridget McNeill's: Want to avoid paying cover? Bridget McNeill's is hosting a New Year's Eve Party with a champagne toast — and no minimums or cover. 
  • DryHop Brewers: DryHop will be unveiling a new beer on New Year's Eve — Batch 2014, made with champagne yeast, pomegranates and ginger. The special beer will only be available from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. on New Year's Eve, and there will be a free champagne toast at midnight. 
  • D.S. Tequila Fashion: For $40, you can ring in 2014 with D.S. Tequila's signature food and cocktails, party favors, a balloon drop and a heated patio. 
  • Chilam Balam: Come enjoy a menu featuring grilled oysters, pumpkin and chorizo empanadas and much more at Chilam Balam. There are three seatings — 5:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Prices vary per time, and reservations can be made at (312) 352-0229. 
  • Clark Street Dog and Bar: Another great no cover option. The restaurant will be open until 4 a.m., and will have plenty of drink specials until 2 a.m. There will also be a free champagne toast at midnight and party favors. 
  • Melanthios: There are several dinner packages available, as well as a Midnight champagne toast. 
  • Revolucion: Enjoy a three course prix-fixe menu by Chef Jose Navejas, including a glass of champagne with each meal. 
  • Michael Diversey's: For $10 admission, you'll receive plenty of party favors and a special midnight champagne toast. For $60, you can take part in the all-inclusive drink package — which includes top shelf liquor, craft beer drafts and high-quality house wine. Reservations can be made at (773) 327-7040. 
  • Laugh Factory: This Broadway comedy club will host two special New Year's Eve events — an 8 p.m. show and a 10:30 p.m. bash featuring hors d'oeurves, champagne and top-notch comics. 
  • Renaldi's Pizza: For $40 at Renaldi's, you can get unlimited select drafts and well drinks from 9:30 - 11:30, as well as complimentary appetizers. 
  • Studio BE: Ring in 2014 with lots of laughs — organized drinking games start at 10 p.m. and an improv jam will begin at 11 p.m., with a dance party to follow. Tickets are $25 and include drinks and a champagne toast. 
  • Minibar: The $99 admission to this limited admission party comes with a lot — dinner, a top-shelf drink package, entertainment and party favors. 
  • Macku Sushi: This Halsted St. hotspot is hosting a special New Year's Eve prix fixe menu on Dec. 31. For $120 per person, you will have a a large menu. Reservations can be made at (773) 360-8816.
