David Cassidy to Headline at Market Days 2013
The Partridge Family 70s star will sing at the Boystown festival, organizers confirm.
Actor, singer and songwriter David Cassidy of The Partridge Family is now the third headliner announced for Boystown’s Northalsted Market Days in August, organizers confirm.
The former teen heartthrob will join TV icon Lynda Carter, who played Wonder Woman in the 70s, and former chart-toppers Wilson Phillips at the annual LGBT festival.
Cassidy is best known for playing Keith Partridge and singing hits like, “I Think I Love You,” with the TV family. Through The Partridge Family, Cassidy says he gained a strong gay following, ChicagoPride.com reports.

Along with still performing today, Cassidy will soon appear on an episode of CSI. He also appeared for a brief time on Celebrity Apprentice in 2011, but was the first to be fired by Donald Trump that season.
Market Days takes place Aug. 10-11 on North Halsted Street between Belmont Avenue and Addison Street.
