All Eyes on Lake View: CBS Dives Deep into the Chicago Neighborhood
The network is profiling the North Side community, detailing its rich history and why Chicagoans are drawn to the lakeside neighborhood.
For those of us living here, Lake View is undoubtedly one of the best communities in all of Chicago.
But now CBS News Chicago is has caught wind, profiling the North Side neighborhood on its segment, “Your Chicago.”
“It might be one of the most traveled neighborhoods in Chicago. If it’s not for a trip to Wrigley to see the Cubs, it might be to run on the lakefront or to head to the city’s Pride Parade,” said Kate Sullivan. “Lake View has been changing and growing quickly over the last decade, and it is tonight’s ‘Your Chicago.’”

The local TV station detailed the roots of what makes Lake View great, interviewing Lakeview Chamber of Commerce director Heather Way as to why so many flock to live here.
“We have everything. We have a major-league sports team. We have the lakefront. We have a harbor. We have awesome parks. We have great schools. We have arts, culture, entertainment, great shopping,” said Way, cut short on her endless list of Lake View’s hot commodities.
