Improv Classes (The Art of Slow Comedy) with Jimmy Carrane!
The Art of Slow Comedy is a fresh approach to long-form improvisation based on the premise that you have to be real before you can be funny.
Unlike other large improv schools, Jimmy Carrane's Art of Slow Comedy classes are limited to 12 people, giving students plenty of stage time and personal feedback. Jimmy believes in talking less so you can do more, letting you discover for yourself what works for you.
Jimmy Carrane is the host of Improv Nerd and co-author of Improvising Better: A Guide to the Working Improviser. He is the former host of Studio 312 on Chicago Public Radio. He has taught at The Second City, IO-Chicago, The Annoyance and Victory Gardens.
