Great Lakes Brewing Beer Dinner for Earth Day at Standad Market Grill

From 5-9 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2014,

Standard Market Grill will partner with Cleveland’s Great Lakes Brewing for a 4-course dinner to celebrate Earth Day. Along with reusing spent brewery grain to fuel for their delivery trucks, Great Lakes Brewing has a number of initiatives in place to conserve energy, recycle and reuse through their Triple Bottom Line program.

To complement the beer, Standard Market Executive Chef Brian Wright has prepared a menu featuring ingredients from local and sustainability-minded purveyors, including:

·         Salted Pretzel Bites with Honey Whipped Butter; Paired with Dortmunder Gold

·         Tiger Shrimp Lollipop, La Quercia “Speck” Applewood Smoked Prosciutto, Malted Fondue; Paired with Tripel Dog Dare

·         Knife & Fork Fried Chicken, Smoked Cheddar Waffle, Rosemary Infused Maple Syrup; Paired with Rye of the Tiger

·         Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch, Marshmallow Meringue; Paired with Edmund Fitzgerald Porter
