Twist Tapas Café Closing
Lake View’s tapas café Twist announced Monday it will be closing in the upcoming months in an email blast titled “A Sad Day.” Owner Chris Seiberlich thanked diners for the memories, saying he hopes to see all the Twist List subscribers before their final day. “After 12 years we are sad to say we have lost our lease. Twist will be closing in October…”

"We have found that one meteor shower produces more fireballs than any other," said Bill Cooke of NASA's Meteoroid Environment Office. "It's the Perseid meteor shower, which peaks on Aug. 12 and 13."
