Milt's Barbeque Featured on 190 North's Final Episode (VIDEO)

The popular East Lake View kosher barbeque restaurant serenades the ABC 7's food show off the air.

East Lake View’s new kosher barbeque restaurant Milt’s Barbeque for the Perplexed helped serenade ABC 7’s 190 North off the air on their last episode ever Sunday night.

Located at 3411 N. Broadway St. at the intersection with Roscoe Street, Milt’s dishes up 100 percent kosher barbeque while donating 100 percent of its profits to local charities. The new eatery opened its doors in late January.

But 190 North viewers eager to try Milt’s out following the program will have to be patient. Restaurant manager Dan Weiss says the storefront is closed for the Jewish holiday of Passover from March 25, reopening again on April 3 at 4 p.m.

ABC officials announced in early February the food, fashion and entertainment show 190 North would be cancelled, citing “economic challenges facing our industry,” according to Time Out Chicago. The Chicago network’s general manager John Idler says the program could return at some point as a quarterly show.
