Chicago’s First ‘Jet’s Pizza’ to Open in Lake View
The pizza restaurant chain is looking to open its first location on Ashland Avenue in Lake View this month.
Jet’s Pizza, the 17th largest pizza chain in America, is planning to open its first Chicago restaurant within the next few weeks, according to Jet’s America Corp.
Located at 2811 N. Ashland Ave. near the intersection with Diversey Parkway, the pizza chain is opening right between Lake View, Lincoln Park and Roscoe Village. This will be Jet’s Pizza’s first venture in Chicago, with other locations in Skokie, Arlington Heights and Lombard nearby.
The new pizza joint will serve up its famous deep-dish square pizza, sides like cheesy bacon bread, five different types of salad, sub sandwiches and Coke products. It also offers eight different pizza crusts like butter, Parmesan cheese and Cajun.
A specialty square pizza ranges anywhere from $11 to $21, with multiple other size and build-your-own pizza options available.
According to the company’s website, the original Jet’s was opened in Sterling Heights, Michigan in 1978. Since offering up franchising opportunities in 1990, the store has grown to more than 200 locations in 13 states.
